| With the development of spatial information technology, at present spatial information services there have Client / Server (C/S) and Browser / Server (B/ S) two structures, respectively, on behalf of the software are ArcGIS and WebGIS. To fat client (C/S) structure have obvious advantage in handling amounts of spatial data and provide 3D graphics experience, but to deploy trouble, time-consuming updates. The late of the B/S structure, the applications can be unified deploy in the server side, maintenance need only in the server side, the client requires only a Web browser, this greatly reduce the deployment and maintenance costs. But new problems have emerge, unified browser interface, and this model of operation can not provide for the user rich graphical experience, not workable. In this paper, for the lack of client functionality in the existing spatial information services C/S, B/S model and spatial data service needs, using a new type of network services model of spatial information——G/S model, the model solves above problems, it has visualization of client browser as the spatial information browser,to access the distributed server cluster unified, flexible, hierarchical display and manage spatial data. The author integrated features of Geo-Browser in G/S model, used component technology this new type of software design to achieve the custom development of Geo-Browser. Through designed the function and interface of Geo-Browser, implemented the displaying and sharing of spatial information services. The research results of this paper were the following points:l Achieved a common Geo-Browser using of component technology, combined with Spatial Data Servers together to build a new model of spatial information network services;l Proposed a component frame to develop the Geo-Browser, using the component framework flexibility developed custom client, and based on this framework to provide intuitive three-dimensional display function of spatial information than the similar;l Achieved HGML / KML converter tool set, made interchangeable between HMGL and KML, provided a new solution in dealing with information of spatial, for applications in the industry to provide convenient network services of spatial information.Used of component technology and followed these steps to achieve Geo-browser : first by software engineering and software methodology on Geo-browser needs analysis; and detailed design the browser system architecture and function modules; and then use component development and other key technologies, in support of data standards HGML to achieve Geo-browser; Finally, by example verification of its feasibility and scientific, concluded Geo-browser in G/S model has obvious advantages in spatial information processing and three-dimensional displaying. |
