With the development of computer graphics, artificial intelligence and robotics technology, virtual human-based maintenance simulation becomes to be a feasible way. A general way for virtual human application is to substitute virtual prototype for physical mockup, and substitute virtual human for real personnel. In this way, virtual maintenance scenery can be constructed, and disassembly or assembly activities can be animated,and prototype's Maintainability and man-machine work efficiency are considered in the design stage . Virtual human-based maintenance simulation is to a great extent the controlling simulation of virtual human's upper limb, therefore this article is focused on the researching of key technologies of virtual human's upper limb motion controlling.At first, based on anglicizing body measurement and the upper limb's dissection structure, we had established virtual human's upper limb model of the joint hierarchization structure;Then, propose a new kind of repair task decomposition model for virtual human's upper limb, and the repair task will decompose from top to bottom into the task unit, action unit and action element; Based on the upper limb kinematics pattern, we design one kind of movement classification standard. It has been able to support the virtual human's upper limb repair simulation well; Based on the repair movement's parameterization modeling and sealing, a hierarchical virtual human's upper limb movement database is constructed;Thirdly, based on the parameterization essential frame interpolation method, modeling of the grasping class movement is realized; Based on the reversion kinematics method , modeling of the unarmed operation class and the tool operation class movement is realized;At last, on the foundation of the basic movement model studying, the behavior plan system of virtual human's upper limb based on blackboard model is proposed, to control the virtual human completing the maintenance simulation in a high level.Based on the above work, three dimensional software 3dsmax8.0 and creator3.2 are used to establish the virtual human model. Making use of VC++6.0 and the Vega3.7 mix programming, virtual human's upper limb motion control system facing maintenance simulation is designed and has realized. Finally, the demonstration example of a reduction gear disassembling is realized. The experimental result indicated that this system can speed up the maintenance animation the foundation, improve interactive performance of man-machine contact surface, enhance the virtual human intelligence, make the user working efficiency enhancing greatly, and will lay solid foundation for the further development of virtual human simulation platform.
