Design And Implementation Of Dandong Talent Center Archives Management System

With the deepening of the reform of the state personnel system and adjustments of personnel policy, the business of Dandong Human Resources Centers has been expanding rapidly. The traditional archives management approaches have failed to meet current business requirements. As the key part of informationization, the implementation of archives management system becomes very urgent.According to the needs of computerized information management of Dandong Human Resources Center, as well as the current status of management information system and the actual situation of the business, this paper designs and develops the archives management information system. Firstly, this paper mainly discusses the background of this design, the functions to be achieved and the processes of the design and development. Then, by researching into the current popular technologies, this paper uses the structured approaches to analyze systematically the archives management system of Dandong Human Resources Center involving investigations and analyses of the current organizational structure, management of business processes and user needs, based on which, a logical model of the system is proposed.On the basis of the systematic analysis, this paper designs the concept structure and logical structure of the system database. And with the structured approaches, the system design is conducted and a physical model of the system is put forward. The system selects Microsoft SQL Server 2005, a relational database management system based on Windows, as the back-end database management system, and adopts Power Builder 9.0, which is a visual object-oriented development tool, as a software development platform for system programming. Finally, all the functions of system are achieved and put into service.
