Ordering System is one of the most significant components of retail enterprises service management. In the past, the retail stores always make orders by filling invoices by hand and telephone calls or fax, which caused a big waste of manpower and delay in action to order. In view of the requirements of the socity, this thesis designs an embedded Electronic Ordeing System, whose hardware is the platform of the SBC2440 produced by Guangzhou Youshan Co.,Ltd, And the Software uses ArmLinux 2.6.18 as the OS and the QT/Embedded4.4.1 Graphic User Interface system.First, this thesis does some research on Embedded System technology, including its characteristics, developing steps, and know about the embedded system, embedded GUI and Embedded System develop pattern. Then, according to application needs, the thesis gives out a whole structure for the terminal, including the choices and building of the hardware platform, software, and the structure design of application. The MVC pattern and Qt pattern also are researched in this thesis. The article sets the application software into many layers and designs the database and system network interfaces. At last, the application system is carried out in the target machine, realizing the system cross-compilation, transplant of Qt and Embedded lib, cross-complilation and transplant of the application system, and implement it run on the target machine aimed at different transplant method. This ordering system satisfied the retail and wholesaler, building an information tunnel by internet between them, making sure supply in time. This is benificial for the retail to revolve fund, and improve their capacity of competition.
