Post branch is the first link in the post production and the key part of data collection for post integrated computer network application systems. With the development of post business in Hunan province, the existing branch production system has shown its shortages, and should be updated. In order to realizing the thorough informationization in post branch, the electronic post branch system comes out.In the software development, component-based development method can reduce the cost of software development, help to enhance the software flexibility, maintainability, and reliability, and shorten the software development cycle. It also helps to enhance the level of standardization of software development. This thesis focuses on the design and implement of post branch system, and presents some key technologies for performance improvement.In this thesis, the requirement analysis, the whole design, the detail function and component implement of the post branch project are presented, which are according to the theory of software engineering. All the technologies in the project are based on component technology. Moreover, some performance optimization methods are in use. In order to improve the database performance, the data sharing technology is used to deal with the huge data capacity problem. Aiming to optimize the delay of data request, we propose a traffic-predicted strategy for connection management in database connecting pool. Distributed cache is used to improve the response ability of the system, and the distributed server is the famous product-memcached.The application of the post branch system shows that it has the better functions and can be easy expansion, and fully satisfy the business requirement. The system shows the expected performance, and would meet the need of the increasing users.
