Research Of Fuzzy Controller With Variable Universe

Fuzzy Control, one of the computer control technique based on natural language of control rules and fuzzy inference engine, has become one of the widely research area in intelligent control theory due to its merits, such as simple structure, strong robust, no mathematics model of the controlled object. But fuzzy control also has its demerit, such as low control accuracy, rule explosion, etc, and fuzzy controller with variable universe solves the problems to a certain extent. This paper discusses the traditional contraction -expansion factors based on function models at first, and then introduces the variable universe fuzzy controller based on the two stages fuzzy inference engine and the intelligent section engine, and then introduces the variable universe fuzzy-PID controller based on fuzzy rule switch, the experiment shows its effect. Furthermore, an object oriented fuzzy control system has been posed.
