Virtual laboratory is a computer network teaching system, which uses Virtual Reality technology to simulate real experiment,for students to configure on their own ,connect, adjust and use virtual instruments and equipments for experiments, including related knowledge to study before experiment, the simulation of experiment process, the correction after experiment, simulation and the management of experiment process, and so on. Virtual laboratory that uses Virtual Reality technology,multimedia technology and computer network technology can breakthrough time and space constraints and equipment amount constraints. Students can perform remote virtual experiments in any place with network terminal, besides the students and teachers can achieve the interaction. Virtual laboratory allows students alone to design reasonable typical experiment according to virtual devices provide by system, which is an important feature that Virtual laboratory is different from reality teaching experiments.The paper builds the background of automatic control virtual experiment, is based on digital logic circuit experiment and depends on the current development situation of virtual laboratory at home and abroad. It analyses and compares several regular virtual reality technologies in the Web environment and describes the practical significance of developing virtual laboratory. Experimental system uses the B/S network architecture and simulates a variety of experiment equipment interfaces and logic functions, so the users can use the mouse clicks and keyboard input to add, delete and connect the simulated equipment, etc. Set up the experimental circuit,then set the parameters of equipment and operate the virtual panel. Obtain the experimental results through state change of experimental device and meter reading, etc.In this paper, Photoshop are used to create virtual devices. Use PHP script language and MySQL database to store the components in the background. Take Actionscript3 script language and Adobe FlexBuild3 which basic of RIA as the combination of development platform to achieve the simulation of experiment process and the virtual experiment interaction. In addition to the hands—on experiment through virtual experiment platform,students also can design experiments freely that helps students develop design capability and innovation.
