This paper describes the realization of fire early alarm system using multi-sensor data fusion technology based on D-S evidence theory. The system is mainly aimed at the characteristics of disasters, such as fire and gas leakage in many chemistry laboratory of our university, and consider of our university campus building distribution and the distribution of floor. This system uses the C/S architecture, in this way, the server connect multiple clients via network to achieve uniform monitoring and management. By fully using of my school's local area network system, It makes the early warning system messaging more convenient, greatly improves the efficiency of early warning systems. Since the system transmits data through the network, it can be extend to a number of occasions, such as city's security by using the city network.The system is achieved based on the hardware.In front of hardware system, we adopt "1-wire bus" to link various sensors together, in this way, we can guarantee the stability of communication, enhance node capacity and effectively control the system cost. The client has the following functions, such as data collection of targets that sensor monitoring, data collection, data analysis/processing, alarm, transmitting data to the server, etc. The client analysis the collected various sensor data, using data fusion Technology base on D-S evidence theory, to get more accurate results for the warning. This method cover the shortage of single sensor and greatly improve the reliability of the early-warning system. The server monitors the remote multiple clients in real-time, receives the data from clients, processes the data and stores it into the database. In the meantime, the server uses a thread to achieve real-time monitoring of parameter database, once parameter change, the server figures out the corresponding building and inform the corresponding client, then the client should adopt some action to keep consistent with the server data. To improve the security and portability of the system, it uses two kinds of database:the client uses ACCESS database to record the relevant data of local building separately while the server uses SQL SERVER database to records all the data.
