With the development of the Internet and the increasing of Internet users, the data of Internet expands sharply. In order to satisfy the needs of users, the Internet companies need to preserve, mining the data. Since the amounts of data greatly increases the operating pressure of all major Internet com-panies. Therefore, controlling cost will be the one of the most import strategy way for the Internet companies in next few years. The cloud computing is one of the best way to control the cost of company. It is the development of grid computing, distributed computing and parallel computing, and it can demand a variety of services for dynamic resource allocation, automatic deployment, automatic configuration. Currently the major Internet giants of all over the world are throwing in lots of manpower and material resources to study the cloud computing. The virtualization technology is an integral part of the cloud computing. The character of separating and transplantable in the technology of cloud computing are better than others. XEN is a very popular virtualization software, and it has also been supported by many companies. This article will study deeply the relevant technical of XEN, and it will build a flexible cloud platform on this basis.In order to solve the problem of data security of the Internet companies, this paper will study deeply the virtual block storage device simulation of XEN. It is mainly study the blktap virtual block storage device simulation which XEN provided, and it realized it on the two distributed systems of HDFS and Hbase. In addition, we realized the function of the COW and the snapshot on the basis of block device. Then we ensure the security and maintainability of the virtual machine's data.The paper also detailed design the scheduling system of the elastic cloud platform. The purpose of the scheduling system is designed to increase the maximum utilization of resources. It integrates all of the external interfaces of the elastic cloud platform, such as the start virtual machine and stop virtual machine. In addition, it is also responsible for maintaining the heartbeat of all elements on the platform to ensure they can run healthly. In addition, the paper also detailed design the virtual network of the flexible cloud platform. We will use the concepts of group, subnet, vlan, and these concepts will divided the virtual machine of elastic cloud platform into multiple security domains, in order to ensure their safety.Finally, the article also study and analysis the live migration feature based on XEN, and it is integrated into the elastic cloud platform. With the feature of live migration, the reliability of elastic cloud platform service will be greatly improved.
