Nowadays, printing and packaging industry is developing rapidly; Dry Compound Machine is a flexible package finishing device. At present only a few flexible package enterprises adopt to advanced digital process, while most of the others rely on imports. Under this situation, a thorough study of the structure of the Dry Compound Machine and the related techniques, for the flexible package and printing enterprises to improve the level of the machine's design and machining quality is of great significance.Tension control is a very important part in the Dry-compound Machine system. High precision's tension control is the key performance indicators of keeping products'high quality. Our main concern is always focusing on how to control tension and linear speed independently in spite of their strong coupling.The laminator is the main research object in this paper, which includes four sub-systems:unwinding, jointing, adhesive and rewinding. Unwinding subsystem takes magnetic particle brake as its actuator, and all the others take inverter and inverter drives as their actuators. Both the unwinding and rewinding subsystems take load cells as their measuring devices, but jointing-adhesive subsystem adopts dancer roll. In this system, the traditional PI control cannot satisfy the requirements of the precision of tension control and the stability of control system. So we have to modify the control strategy to meet the needs.Pic18f66j10 is employed as MCU in this paper, and we extend multiply analog signal input and output, digital signal input and output, communication port and so on; these parts constitute the field bus control system TFB, and control dry-compound machine control system which uses multiply electromotor, completely satisfy the control of tension and speed of true linkage. The system adopts the tension sensor to feedback the tension. After the process of operation of the main MCU, outputs the control signal to inverter frequency, the feedback signal makes itself come to the synchronous speed as the main motor by using the frequency conversion to drive the Converter Motor. The internal control procedure in the TFB module can automatically calculate the coil diameter of rewinding tension control, realize the control of the tapering tension and makes the speed of each part come to the same and finally improves the quality of the winding of the dry-compound machine.
