With the development of China's space industry, the number of satellites in the orbit is increasing. The researchers often need to see a satellite coverage area at a particular moment, which requires a model to calculations the coverage area. With the number of satellites in orbit increases, the researchers acquired remote sensing data more and more. Vast amounts of remote sensing data are often controlled by different units, which face the problem of data sharing. With the emergence of Digital Earth, three-dimensional GIS is developing rapidly. The visualization of imaging data based on Digital Earth becoming a problem to be solved. This paper study the above issues.Firstly, Proposed a model to the problem of the satellite coverage area conducting. For the mass remote sensing image visualization problems, an analysis of NASA Wrold Wind system architecture and in-depth study of NASA World Wind of the map display program based on the mention of remote sensing image data multi-resolution slices, publish and display program. To address the flood of multi-source remote sensing image data-sharing problems in remote sensing image management, this paper introduced based on SOA (Service-oriented architecture, service-oriented architecture) framework to manage the datas, and use Web Service technology to achieve. The main contribution of this article with the innovations embodied in the following points:1. Satellite coverage area of remote sensing to model.
