The Study Of Researcher-oriented Knowledge Service Of Science Library

Characteristics of user information needs, user information behavior, information services scenario are changes under the E-science backgrounds. Convenient, digital, information to the desktop, and the integration of scientific research process is the researchers new hope towards information services. The library as a physical form, while the number of researchers to visit less and less. Responds to these changes, how to achieve service transformation is the great challenge facing the professional library.Subject information services has been startuped 4 years ago, The National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is gradually shifting from resources construction, user connection, reference service, user training and other traditional information retrieval services to work towards research process of knowledge services. Embedded in the research process needs we should study the characteristics of different stages of the research process, and the characteristics of different stages of user needs, and then take the knowledge services measures for different stages of the research process. Therefore, the study of researcher-oriented knowledge service of science library has important theoretical and practical significance.The main text is divided into four sections:Background, literature review, research and process analysis of demand for services and their users on the characteristics of knowledge, the construction of knowledge services system. The first part describes the recent status of knowledge service, study ideas and methods. The second part introduces the theory of knowledge services, including the concepts differences between the information services and knowledge services, the content and characteristics of knowledge services, levels and patterns and knowledge of domestic and international services case. The third part is mainly analyzes the research process based on user interviews, the impact of environment on the research process is analyzed, research process in different stages of Title researchers on the characteristics of the demand for knowledge services and proposed measures for a research process based on knowledge service user needs. The fourth part is mainly building of the knowledge service system, including the construction of the content, building mechanisms, security mechanism and evaluation mechanisms.
