The group of Critical intellectuals is a special part of commentators. They write a story instead of a traditional comment. In these articles the authors don't argue their opinions directly, but try to express it as a metaphor, which can make the readers think deeply. In these articles, the commentators use the code of different Geography, History and Screen-shielding ones to make the old word-system destroyed. They set up a new angle of view which is different from the one affected by the main ideology. This can help the pubic consider about the main ideology, and it's a method to build a Utopia. The structure of the articles can be divided into two types. One is the Geography Narrative, and the other is the History Narrative. The intellectuals provide a different experience by the Geography Narrative. When they use a History Narrative, they want to show the readers another way of history telling and emphasize the history can be told in different ways. The reason why the intellectuals write comments like this can be supported by the following reasons. They have studied or worked in the foreign countries. They are influenced by the Cosmopolitism and Liberalism. They choose a story because of its philosophical metaphor. The existence of the critical intellectuals in China shows a way of the Chinese intellectuals. The intellectuals should be professional and face the public. By using the codes and the structures, the intellectuals goal to set up a Utopia. The Utopia points at Liberalism and aims to change the main ideology. The intellectuals believe that China should enter the world, if she wants to solve the problems occurring in the reform. And because of the new Utopia, China will be liberal, open, rich, and be a modern democratic state.
