With the development of technology, Radio Direction Finding which was born in the beginning of the last century has constituted a systematic theory, and is widely used in military and civilian. However, in applications, the Direction-Finder will have been influenced by noises in every parts of processing. To filter and eliminate these noises is a very important step which affects the accuracy of the Direction-Finder.The commonly methods which used for correcting the error in low SNR channel are not obvious in capacity. Thus, there is necessary to propose a new algorithm which used to eliminate noises and achieve channel correction.The main task of this topic is to propose a new kind of algorithm which used to correct channels in Five-Channel Interferometer. The algorithm will use in Five-Channel Data Acquisition System based on PCI bus. This paper has given a complete description of Radio Direction-Finding System, the error in Radio Direction-Finding System, the basic theory of direction-finding of interferometer and the composition of the Five-Channel Data Acquisition System first. The paper analyzed the error of amplitude and phase of Five-Channel Data Acquisition System. Also it has given a brief of algorithm of channel correction which used commonly. After introduced the theory of TLS(Total Least Squares) algorithm, the paper put forward the application of the TLS algorithm which is applied to correct the error of amplitude and phase of Five-Channel Data Acquisition System first time. It completed simulation and comparison of correcting performance of TLS algorithm and LS algorithm. According to the requirements of this task, the paper has designed the schematic and PCB of the Five-Channel Data Acquisition System based on PCI bus, and has finished the debugging of the acquisition card. Finally, it has given the feasibility of application of TLS algorithm in channel correction. Also the paper proposed a new direction of application of TLS algorithm.
