Modern industrial production demands on the controller open more and more pressing, CNC manufacturing demands greater flexibility and more powerful programming environments to suit different applications and multiple varieties of small batch production. SERCOS digital servo and drive the bus as the only international standard data communications, digital servo interface represents the development direction of CNC technology has become a research focus. This bus control unit connected by optical fiber to form a closed loop, complete real-time transmission of data, its communication mechanisms to ensure synchronization of the system operation and control precision and high reliability and openness. Therefore, the use of multi-axis control of SERCOS bus will be the future trend.The leading manufacturer of digital control equipment on the SERCOS bus study, especially for SERCOS digital servo control system bus interface design and development, has not been a breakthrough, with related products have been monopolized by foreign manufacturers. SERCOS digital servo control system bus interface design and development of high research value and practical value.Thesis, specifically for the industrial machinery and electronic equipment control unit and digital servo devices and programmable controllers real-time data communication between the serial protocol standards - SERCOS (Serial Real-time communication protocol) analysis of the existing SERCOS bus control The basic device structure was established based on FPGA's SERCOSII bus station protocol controller from the overall framework of the proposed design scheme. To Xilinx, Inc. Spartan3 series FPGA core, designed SERCOS-II from the station data link layer protocol controller soft core, using the existing MC8051 IP soft core, the preparation of the SERCOS-II application layer protocol, and set up complete hardware test platform to verify the feasibility and practicality of this design.
