Turn the footstep along with world information continuously and quickly, the requirements of integrating multiple data sources exist for a long time. In order to provide a data platform that can cover the difference among heterogeneous data sources, many researchers have been dedicated to working out a dynamic and effective integration way.Under the background of above-mentioned facts, this paper brings up an executive plan based on Meta-Language, and introduces the plan's design and realization. With the rising of XML technology, building the integration platform on XMLfiles has become a research focus in this community. XML is continually applied to various domain to integrate data sources nowadays. Its advantages make it the best candidate for representing data model. The researches mainly center on the following questions:1. Firstly, this paper focuses on theories and technologies of existing heterogeneous data integration method, the XML technology and the Web Services technology. Then, a kind of heterogeneous data integration architecture based on Meta-Language by using Meta-Data-Integration-Model approach is designed.2. Bring forward an Meta-Language based data integration Model. The new Model canbe seen as a supplement and extension of the original principles. The detailed realization is cited. Kernel structure. working process and modules'functions of the Model are introduced.3. The paper Used Meta-Language to express the data source and built the local data. Meta-Language technique can solve the problems of syntax heterogeneity.4. Finally, an application of heterogeneous data integration system based on XML in CARSI is available. The feasibility of framework is certified in practice, and then the defects and further improvement of the system are pointed out.
