Therefore, many enterprises have begun the construction of information. The ERP (enterprise resource planning) is the embodiment of the construction of enterprise information.DongYang Electric Machine(YANTAI)Limited Corporation is a South Korean-owned machinery manufacturing enterprise, founded in 2001. The company mainly produces hydraulic cylinders and auto parts for excavators, forklifts, such as motors, windshield wipers etc. Its products are sold to the large machinery manufacturers such as Doosan Heavy Industries and Beijing Hyundai. Internal composition of the enterprise are Production Management Department, Production Department, Sales Management Department, Computer Department, Human Resources Department, Quality Department, Finance Department and Purchasing Department. With the business continuing expanding, the original business management information system became inefficient and error-prone. It could not meet the demands of enterprises. Therefore, developing ERP systems is urgent for enterprise information management.The ERP system researched in the paper uses the three-tier C/S model using PB9.0 as the development language and Informix9.0 as the background database. Firstly, it analyzed and studied the characteristics of enterprises business, including Production Management, Sales Management, Material Management, Quality Management and Purchasing Management etc, and meanwhile combining with different departments'specific working practices, put forward specific requirements for the company's ERP system development. Based on the enterprise's business, through daily work and operation process, making is a comprehensive needs analysis for the system, including functional requirements and non-functional requirements, and describing in detail the needs using the flow charts and diagrams.Secondly, based on the demands analysis, it carried out the system framework analysis. In this section, it gave the system function structure, logical structure and network deployment, proposed design principles and data backup programs for the database design, and made a detailed design especially for production management and structure of sales management database table.And then, the realization of the system. It focused on two modules:production management and sales management. Production management achieved adding, modifying, querying and other functions to the products'basic information, weekly production plans, BOM, operating instructions and product assembly; sales in the Management of customer information, sales management achieved adding, modifying, querying and other functions to the customer information, monthly sales plan, weekly sales plan, shipping information and selling information. And it described the database connection method in detail.Finally, the summary of the work. It analyzed the function characters of system and the business benefits in running process, summarized the exposed defects in the system using process and offered the further improvements in the program. |
