Research On The Connection Between Interface Design Of Chinese Teaching Website And Learning Satisfaction

The main purpose of the research is focused on the relationship between interface design, interface usability and learning satisfaction of Chinese learning website. Besides, the research also studied the relationship between individual learner differences and interface usability. The study analysis of individual the two different styles website ZON and Chinese Pod. All samples of questionnaires were come from the foreign students of East China Normal University.According to the study, there are significant differences between interface usability and the nationality of learners. As for learning satisfaction, there are significant differences on the nationality of learners and the sex of Chinese Pod learners. Besides, the interface design and interface usability have shown significant positive correlation. In this part, the dynamic image is the highest correlation. From a regression analysis of the relationship, the dynamic image is the highest correlation on Chinese Pod; the layout and design style of website is the highest correlation on ZON. More over, the interface usability and satisfaction have shown significant positive correlation. From a regression analysis of the relationship, the Beta value of efficiency, learnability and operation mistake have shown significant positive correlation on Chinese Pod and ZON. As for the user viewing experience, ZON have a good evaluation on dynamic image. And the learners of different national backgrounds also have different visual sensation. Overall, the interface design, interface usability and learning satisfaction are above average on the two websites. And most Chinese learners are willing to continue using the two Chinese websites.According to the results, I put forward a proposal on Chinese Pod and ZON. Meanwhile, I expect to improve the learning satisfaction of Chinese website for future reference.
