Research On Establish And Evolution Of Course_Ontologies In Educational System

Ontology is an important tool for knowledge reusing, sharing and modeling, and it has been attracted extensive attention by researchers since 1990s. In essence, ontology can capture shared knowledge in related fields, provide expertise common understanding, fasten down mutual consent of terms, and give clear definitions of these terms and interrelations between them from different formalization models. Therefore, people could communicate with computers better. Ontology library is an indispensable fundamental database for natural language processing, semantic retrieve, computer reasoning and artificial intelligence. The scale and quality of ontology library are very important in semantic web.This paper discussed semantic web and ontology correlation theories, described the conceptions, functions, formal descriptions and categories of ontology, introduced the research of ontology in China and foreign countries, analyzed main technical methods of ontology, compared four more commonly used ontology constructions and four common ontology description languages. Seven steps of the development of ontology have been given.Based on theoretical exploration, this paper raised data struct course ontology construction, which not only has a good concept hierarchical structure, logic reasoning support and ability of semantics through their relations, but also provides a better knowledge foundation for conceptual retrieve. Analyzing current ontology storage methods, this paper proposes relational database storage schema of course domain ontology. Making effective use of relational database system for data storage advantages, this system puts network structure ontology information into a two-dimensional table reasonably. Designed an ontology of data structure course to solve management and search problem of ontology data.Base on the requirements analysis of ontology evolution proposed change mechanism and signify of ontology. Combined the ontology description language OWL proposed the model of ontology evolution. And designed an Ontology-based Adaptive Educational System (OntoAES). So the design of ontology library and ontology evolution is feasible.
