As several years'development of healthcare information, problem of "Information Island" is getting worse and worse in our country. It's urgent for us to find a way to establish an effective Healthcare Information Integration Platform which can advance collection, exchanging and sharing of healthcare information in a certain area. Although functional design of Healthcare Information Integration Platform can be realized based on traditional development model of software, several problems still exist such as low efficiency and higher coupling of the module. Aiming at these problems, to find out new technical to design Healthcare Information Integration Platform becomes an available research on new topics.Through the analysis of Healthcare Information Integration Platform developed abroad, two problems are found. One is high load of central server and the other is slow access to data for users. Aiming at these problems, multi-Agent technology is imported to solve them. Firstly, new integrated platform architecture is designed by improving platform structure. Then, basing on the new architecture technology of data pre-fetching is designed.Firstly, the theory foundation of healthcare information technology and agent technology is introduced, and it provides the basis for further research and application. Then, new integrated platform architecture is designed. According to the process of healthcare information integration, Agent group is designed in detail based on the new structure and communication mechanism between Agents is studied. And the advantages of combining integrated platform architecture with Agent technology are summarized.Secondly, four key technologies are applied and introduced in this dissertation. They are as follows:patient information pre-fetching technology which is used to solve the problem of slow access to data for users; remote collaboration treatment technology which is used to improve the efficiency among physicians; designation of integrating Agent and establishment of enterprise main patient index.Thirdly, the feasibility of the new method to solve two special problems is validated by an in-country practical application.Finally, the summarization of the whole research work is generalized; the improvement of the system in the future is also discussed in the end.
