The Research And Application Of Data Mining In Police Intelligence Analysis

Public security intelligence analysis can provides important decision for effectively combat and prevent crime, is a very important part in public work. As information technology continuously prosessing and widely applying in public work, the public security authorities accumulated massive social data and information in practical work. There are some missed important intelligences which lies in huge amount of data and information. To find out such intelligences that hidden in a mountain of data and information, the traditional artificial method is far from enough with, police must have dedicated analysis tools for help, which makes the current public security intelligence to take advantage of today' information technology. Only in this way, the work of public security can adapt to today's information development trend, can play its full role, can promote the modern police affair to transfer into the intelligence-led way.This thesis is based on above background, intends to explore how public security authority can use the data mining technique to find out a lot of useful information which we have missed while we face the seemingly chaotic, unrelated massive data and information. Finally we can improve the ability of public security intelligence analysis.This article includes the following parts.1.Analysing the traditional pattern of getting crime information and work requirement for police reconnaissance work.2.Illustrating the current data mining technology and its application. Illustrating the thought of data mining technology applied in the analysis of crimal behavior, combining with characteristic of public security crimal intelligence.3.Highlighting the application of Apriori algorithm and ID3 algorithm in police work data analysis. Finding out the conlusion which can reflect the social security situation and crimal regulation. Converting the above conlusion into crime-warning information and intelligence information.4. Proposing the system architecture and design modules of intelligence information analysising system.This thesis points to the situation that today's police intelligence analysis facing the missing of intelligence while information surplus.This thesis mainly discusses the application in police intelligence analysis of association rules and decision tree classify in data mining technology. I propose a application idea of data mining technology for actual using. This thesis hope that through the application of data mining technology in actual using. Such application can help the public security authority to analyse the massive data and information effectively. The public security authority may find out the intelligence which we needed. The data mining technology will become more and more important in public security intelligence analysis.
