Overview the application of optical illusions in construction decoration, product design, painting, and demonstrate the design areas.This article studies the affect of Zollner optical illusion produced by orientation of the line of the Zollner graph and the study divides the lines of the Zollner graph into two parts: the target lines and the induce lines. The results is obtained by observing the changes the orientation of the target lines or the induce lines respectively. Results showed that the appearance of the Zollner optical illusion bears relationship to the orientation of the inducer lines, no relationship to the orientation of the target lines. However. the orientation of the target lines and the angle between inducer lines and target lines can affect the intensity of the Zollner optical illusion.Will make the optical illusion for the demonstration experiment, to pupils and students on display, or public education in science is very useful.
