In the modern automobile industry, CAD/CAE technology has been widely used, the auto companies in China now have widely used as CATIA/UG etc set CAD/CAE/CAM integration in the software design of products, using the virtual prototype instead of product innovation physical prototype design, testing and evaluation, in order to cut down the development cycle, reduce the cost, improve product quality, improve customer design with market demand for the ability of its functions are becoming more and more obvious.Based on dump garbage truck, I took advantage of the virtual prototype technology, used CATIA/ADAMS software in the garbage truck design and simulation analysis.1. Based on the design process of the dump garbage truck, I made the overall design calculation and components design, including the choice of the chassis, the arrangement and design of the second chassis, the arrangement and the design of lifting mechanism.2. Based on 3d design software CATIA, constructs the tipping the three-dimensional entity model agency, and through the virtual assembly, tipping institutions interference analysis.3. Based on the simulation analysis software ADAMS, through the interface with CATIA ADAMS, will establish the CATIA self-discharging institutions to three-dimensional model in ADAMS, ADAMS, adding loads, drive system, established the virtual prototyping model and simulation analysis.4. Based on the finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench key parts of finite element analysis, the first established in CATIA lifting bearings imported one entity model, the stress condition, the definition of mesh, finite element analysis, the stress, strain and displacement, according to analysis of situations graphic design work on the optimization.
