With the development of virtual reality technology and the popularization of Three-dimensional visualization, people are paying more and more attention on the real-time three-dimensional scene and authenticity. Especially the problems of the scene model's complexity and contradiction between the real-time interactive and virtual scene rendering in virtual reality system. This article attempts to study on the the accelerated rendering technology of complex virtual scene.This paper mainly presents the fundamental theory of visibility cutting technology, level of detail, image-based rendering technology and GPU-accelerated rendering techniques,these techniques can be the basic theory of virtual chemical scene, these techniques also can be a good way to accelerate the virtual chemical scene's rendering.This paper uses fine chemical factory's panorama as its archetype. By using 3D modeling technology, we've built a virtual chemical scene which is the most important part of fine chemical plant's 3D simulation system, and performed virtual chemical scene's interactive function. For improving the true feeling of virtual chemical scene in its development process, make using of programmable GPU to divert illumination calculation from vertex to pixel-level. We've achieved an advanced realistic complex scenes rendering algorithm, and speeded up the roaming speed in virtual chemical scene. Display effect of multiresolution texture mapping technology in virtual chemical scene has been proved useful by using shader, at the same time. Taking advantage of bump mapping technology which based on normal map into work. By this way it can speed up the drawing velocity in virtual chemical scene. Seeking the potential of figure hardware and coordinating with traditional accelerated rendering technology which based on CPU, the method can effectively slove the contradiction of real-time and realism in virtual chemical scene.
