As driver fatigue during driving and the narrow view during parking are the mainly reasons for the traffic accidents, also the difficulty for novices in parking can cause time-wasting, a platform of driver assistant system based on DaVinci technology (TMS320DM6446) and Linux is designed. First, According to different information and experience, a system schematic design is put forward, including evaluating, comparation among different choices. Then the hardware design, including the schematic diagram and explanation for each module, is completed according to the system design. Bootloader and the booting of kernel are analysed in brief. The drivers are designed and the codes of which are realized or ported. The application program is designed from the whole framework to the flow of each thread. According to demonstration and experiences, consisting of demand analysis, the porting of different operating systems to similar platform, the comparation of different platforms and the tests for drivers, etc., the design is inferred to be usable in further study of the driver assistant system, including the driver fatigue detecting and intelligent parking assist. The innovation is that different driver-assist functions are syncretized on one platform which is based on DaVinci technology with dual-core processor. |
