Drum water level is the major indicator in the running of Boiler,to ensure the safe operation of the Boiler,the first thing we should do is to maintain the water level within a certain range.Along with the in-depth development of computer, network and micro-electronics technologies, especially the development of embedded OS, embedded system is increasingly widely used in Boiler control system.Based on several common Three impulse water regulators, this paper studied the Application of embedded system in Three impulse water regulator, to design and debug the software and hardware systematically with Structured and modularized program. Through researches and analyses of the Single impulse, Double impulse and Three impulse control strategies, the control method of Three impulse together with neural PID control algorithm are employed for the stability control of the boiler drum level. Not only can it compensate for the lack of single impulse control system can not overcome the "false water level", double-impulse control systems can't immediately conquer the shortcomings of water supply disruption and overcome the traditional PID control algorithm can not adjust the parameters real-time online, it can also reduce system cost while collecting advantages of fulfill complex algorithm of the Industrial PC.With 32-bit low power micro-controller S3C2410 as the core, the hardware designed the steam drum level, feedwater flow and steam flow analog Detect, valve opening control, as well as keyboard and display circuit. The software part succeeded in the transplanting and compiling of embedded Linux OS core, and develops device drivers and applications for A/D, keyboard and D/A on this basis. Meanwhile completed the transplanting and compiling of the embedded interface system Qt/Embedded under Linux OS, furthermore, realized favorable interface by compiling program. In this paper, The collected to the steam drum level, feedwater flow and steam flow rate signals are processed, and to control the valve opening by giving output value of the volume of control. At the same time relevant data information were displayed in the LCD.Experiments show that the system has completed the basic functions of the Three impulse water regulator, and achieved the desired design objectives. The software and hardware system based on the embedded OS offers a powerful theoretic and practical platform for the further research, at the same time provides a good reference for the development of Three impulse water regulator.
