The Research And Implementation Of Web-based Network File Management System

With the explosive growth of data volume in the digital information age, the network document resources have also been growing exponentially. At the same time, people desire to work more efficiently and led a much simpler life because of the rapid progress of human society and the fast development of science and technology. Facing ever growing file resources, how to fully utilize the most advanced software and hardware resources to effectively manage these file resources has become a challenging issue.Taking a document-centric approach, this thesis studies the development of the network document resource management, and aims to solve file access consistency and sharing issues across multiple terminal devices in Web environment. Through careful study of HTTP protocol and FTP protocol on data transmission and communication mechanism, combining the existing mature open source controls and cross-platform Java programming language, this thesis focuses on study Large Files upload and specifically with resuming Interrupted-transfer in both HTTP protocol and FTP protocol. The main focuses of this thesis include research, development, implementation and use of the Web-based network document management system. Based on B/S structure, our system can be a good application in the current sophisticated Web environment. Meanwhile, the system has a clear and simple interface and navigation functionality that makes it to use; the Java implementation of our system server-component enhances the portability of our system and improves the ease of its deployment. In a nutshell, our system has a good potential to be used in the real environment.The last part of this thesis discusses various key technologies in document management, and performs some related experiments. We also points out the future direction of the file management, shortcomings of our system and how to address these shortcomings in order to enhance our system.
