The advent of imaging radar expands the original concept of Radar. It has the capability of imaging and recognizing the territorial targets, showing increasing potential in many ways, providing more and more useful information for people.Synthetic aperture radar SAR and Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar ISAR, play an absolute importance role in the imaging radar. At present, SAR can make image of target groups, recognize target. The jamming of the SAR is to disrupt its main goal of detection, it can not get the correct target image. ISAR is designated to conduct detection and monitoring of airspace and make moving target imaging, especially for the air moving target recognition. Therefore, the jamming of ISAR is mainly to prevent, disrupt or delay the radar to get information of airspace, influence the final image.Evaluation of jamming effectiveness against SAR and ISAR develops behind their imaging and jamming method, the evaluate jamming effectiveness against SAR and ISAR is based on the imaging and jamming methods. .Primary work of the dissertation is summarized as follows:Firstly, the dissertation introduces the SAR and ISAR imaging techniques. SAR Range-Doppler (RD) algorithm and ChirpScaling (CS) algorithm are studied. The RD algorithm for ISAR motion compensation techniques is studied. The corresponding simulation is made to verify the correctnss of theoretical analysis.Secondly, the dissertation studies jamming methods of SAR and ISAR. Several coherent and incoherent jamming methods are dicscussed based on the difference of processing gain. Theoretical analysis shows that coherent methods are better than incoherent methods. The corresponding simulation is madeThirdly, the dissertation presents two methods of jamming effectiveness evaluation against SAR and ISAR, which are method based on image distortion and method based on change of GLCM statistics features. The corresponding simulation is made to obtain the quantitative analysis of jamming effectiveness against SAR and ISAR.
