Rapid development of mobile communication and the merging of mobile communication and broadband wireless access technology have made dramatically growing demands for the wide band mobile communication become increasingly urgent. Driven by these demands, the 3rd Generation Partnership Project(3GPP) has proposed a new mobile communication system: 3G long term evolution (3G LTE), which is evoluted from the 3rd Generation system. The LTE techonology will provide higher bandwidth, lower latency, and better quality of service(QoS) guarantees. In the evolution of 3G LTE standard, pre-study on the related algorithms is an indispensable part of LTE pre-study.The thesis studies partial key algorithms of 3 GPP LTE Uplink system, then simulates these algorithms through Matlab.Firstly, scheduling algorithm, resource allocation algorithm and adaptive modulation and coding algorithm involved in LTE uplink system are analyzed and studied in this thesis. Furthermore, on this basis of them, the impact of the three kinds of classical scheduling algorithms on the performance of LTE system is simulated and compared.Secondly, a intra-cell power control design is introduced based on the analysis and summary of uplink power control schemes in 3GPP LTE standards and related proposals. On the basis of the design, the thesis studies the traditional open-loop power control algorithm of LTE system performance through simulating and analysing. Then, based on the traditional open-loop power control algorithm, an improved power control algorithm combined service area path loss compensation and interference area path loss compensation is propsed. The system performance of two algorithms is simulated and compared.Finally, related proposals about inter-cell interference coordination technology in 3 GPP are analyzed and summarized. Inter-cell interference coordination(ICIC) technology mainly includes three directions, following as:soft frequency reuse,inter-cell power control and the combination of soft frequency reuse and inter-cell power control. On this basis, three ICIC design programs are given. Then,the impact of the three programs on the overall performance and cell edge performance of LTE systems is compared through simulating and analysing.
