With the development of computer technology and network technology, virtual experiments are widely used in the experimental teaching, it plays an important role to learners to master knowledge, form skills and attitudes. At the present time, view from the research and application of virtual experiments, most of the virtual experiment is simulated on the real experiment only, with little regard to the problems of learner's instersting,emotional experience and cognitive load, that lead learners had little instersting on study, and even harassed, learning effect greatly reduced. Einstein said that "interest is the best teacher." Interest is the source of knowledge, and power. In the virtual experiment, the learner's interesting, motivation and emotional experience are the key that affect the efficiency and quality of virtual experiments. To solve these problems, the paper under the guidance of Instructional System Design Theory,Situated Learning theory and Cognitive Load theory, focuses on the point of design, using stimulation interstings,promotion emotional experience and reduction cognitive load of the learners as a main clue, raising the level of the virtual experimental design thinking, the design of virtual experiment is divided into three levels of emotional, performance and behavior. In the emotional level, combining with practical problems, creating and learning virtual context relevant to the content, setting the necessary tasks and challenges to stimulate learners' interests. In the performance level, by the design of virtual experiment's interface,experiment's environment and equipment to satisfacted the learners' aesthetic needs, enhance the emotional experience,stimulate and maintain interest of learners, promote awareness in learning. In behavior level, by the ways of optimizing the interactions, and feedback information to suggest to reduce extraneous cognitive load of learners and avoid boredom and impatience, so that students can put into the body of learning into the real expression " entertaining "the idea.According to the level of virtual experiment design, combined with virtual experimental development case of "Understanding the RMB", described their specific implementation method in detail, at last, used the experimental methods and survey research methods to evaluate the application of virtual experiment.Paper structure and the details of the various chapters as follows:Chapter I describes the development of virtual experiments and analyzs the shortcomings the of current virtual experiment, in this basis, proposed virtual experiment design ideas at different levels, by stimulating learner interest in learning, enhancing the emotional experience of learners,reducing the cognitive load of learners and other methods to improve the quality of teaching. Finally,make a brief description of the significance of this study and the organizational structure of the paper.Chapter II analyzes the level of virtual experiment design theories.Instructional design theory through the analysis of teaching objectives, teaching content analysis and learner analysis to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of virtual experiments to conveying information. Situated learning theory emphasizes knowledge is based on the situation, through the creation of virtual situations in virtual experiments to stimulate learners' interest and promote deep learning of the learners. Cognitive load theory that the human cognitive resources are limited, virtual experiments using a variety of ways to reduce the extraneous cognitive load to improve the quality of the virtual experimental study.Chapter III under the guidance of the theoretical basis discusses the design of virtual experiments in detail, virtual experiments are divided into three levels of emotion, performance and behavior, the role of each level, the focus of the design methods and relations between them are illustrated content.Chapter IV combines "Understanding the RMB", the development of virtual experiments instance, detailed analysis of the virtual experiment level design process, implementation and attention, and through the practical application of the virtual experiment to evaluate the effects.Chapter V summarizes the main research work and shortcomings, propose further research directions.
