The Design Of Data Acquisition And Processing System Based On CAN BUS

With the development of computer technology, communication technology and control technology, field bus technology appeared. Field bus technology promotes the development of the instrument, measurement and control system. CAN(Controller Area Network) belongs to the FCS category. CAN, as a new bus technology, has features of good performances and high reliability. The CAN bus is multi-host serial bus which support the distributed control and real-time control efficiently. The distributed network based on CAN can need the demand of practical engineering conveniently and low-costly, so it has become one of the developmental hotspot in autoimmunization field gradually.Fieldbus technology is studied in this paper, the reason which its application produced is discussed, the characteristic and superiority of fieldbus is elaborated. After that, the fieldbus which selected in this paper-CAN bus is studied and discussed, the operational principle of CAN bus is elaborated, aiming at the performance and characteristic, its layered structure, protocol and data frame structure are analyzed and studied in detail.With the development of the Photoelectric Detection Technology, a design of data acquisition system based on CAN bus is introduced. The DSP chip TMS320F2812 was adopted as the host controller, which link up A/D Conversion chip AD977A for data acquisition and conversion, and data was transmitted to industrial control computer through CAN bus. Software is used by CCS which was developed by TI company as development environment. MCGS configuration software was used to realize data Processing and display.The system with the characteristics of good versatility, high reliability, high transmission speed and convenient operation has better application prospect.
