1. IntroductionAlong with the rapid development of Telecom industry, the competition among the service providers is growing as well. Therefore, in addition of upgrading and optimizing their networks, service providers also keep on developing the service systems to satisfy their users'needs in terms of customization and convenience. It is not only to improve the customer services, but also to encourage the customers'loyalty. As a result, the service provider will gain both profit and steady growth. Today, Short Messaging Service is the most popular and convenient data service in the mobile communication area. By impetrating the mechanism of storage and forwarding, real-time monitoring, Messaging offers reliable and minor overhead service so that users can communicate to each other at any time.Messaging platform is the enterprise's mobile website. It is the interactive mobile information exchange platform managed by the web-based portal. The Messaging platform is the mobile Internet web made for the mobile terminal user in order to issue, accept and manage. Besides, it provides the capability to support multi-functions mobile products and enables the personalized interactivity as well. Enterprise users can communicate with their customers via the Messaging platform, so does the service provider.2. System Design Of Messaging PlatformShort Messaging System Design is made of System Structure Design,Main Functional Models'Design and Data Collection and Analysis.2.1 System Structure Design Of Messaging PlatformShort Messaging System is made of three layers: Service, Platform and Interface layers. Based on B/S structure, Service layer provides the web portal and meets the basic services'requirements. Service layer supports the system's services and fulfill the functions such as service transaction, statistic analysis, user management, billing and system management. Platform layer provides center and auxiliary service functions, interaction with database, network access management, information security certificate management, system backup, routing and traffic management and database management, etc. Interface layer provides message access function, receives data from billing system, accesses Unicom's messaging gateway via SGIP protocol and transmits the data between Unicom's Integrated Billing System.2.2 System Main Functional Models'Design Of Messaging PlatformMessaging model located at the Interface layer is the main model of the Short Messaging Platform. It is high quality transportation path between the platform and the messaging gateway, as well as between the billing systems. The model is responsible to receive and response the user's request and collect the billing data. Through the multithread processing, the messaging model handles the messages sending from platform to the gateway and vice versa. Also, it collects the billing data. The threads designed for the models are message sending and receiving threads, service transaction handling thread (including MO and MT service handling threads), link maintenance and monitoring threads. The monitoring thread is the main thread which is automatically created by MFC program.2.3 System Data Collection and Analysis Of Messaging PlatformAccording to the Messaging platform, data can be collected to analyze users'billing and discover the hidden value of the information. First, we can take an example of monthly users. By analyzing the billing data, we can find out the pattern of customer's spends. Jointly considering the market policy, we can forecast the potential problem and prepare the solution. Second, we analyzed the daily messaging bill data the statistical curve showed once the early month bill is done, the balance of most of the users is low which means they are at a risk of service stop. The result can be used by the marketing department to make decisions. Last, the analysis also discovers a few status of users'balance and reveals the possible sign-off customers so that the customer satisfaction department can take action in order to keep them within our services. It is another value served by the analysis.3. ConclusionThe article demonstrates the study of the Short Messaging Platform and its status. It briefly introduces the platform's hardware configuration design and upgrading plan, as well as the system structure, network infrastructure and web technical framework. The article emphasizes the design of system's software model starting with functions of service layer, network layer and platform layer, especially the design of the system's unit model and communication model as well as the data interface. It also shows the traffic flow and program design between the Messaging platform and the billing system's interface and the interface communication among the Messaging centers. In the aspect of data collection and analysis, potential risk can be found through analyzing the new customer's billing data and discovering the spending pattern. According to the analysis of billing tracking data, the pattern of user's spending interests are found. It reveals the potential user sign-off as well. This kind of data mining is valuable.
