Virtual laboratory of Power Electronics is one of the hottest research points in the area of Power Electronics education. With the increasing enrollment of students in colleges and universities, the shortage of experiment funds has become a serious problem which could obstruct the implement of laboratory education. In this situation, making full use of remote laboratory system of Power Electronics is an important way to solve the problem. Web-based virtual laboratory system of Power Electronics, with quite a lot of advantages such as low cost, high efficiency, easy to update and so on, has been researched and put into practice in many colleges and universities during recent years.In the virtual laboratory system of Power Electronics, the software system is the guarantee of the operation of the whole system. Besides, it is the approach with which users can operate the experiment equipments and acquire the experiment results. Therefore, the development of software plays a great role in the development of the virtual laboratory system of Power Electronics. As a complicated system project, the development of software involves lots of relevant techniques such as network communication, multithreading, server design and so on.This thesis aims to do some work in the research and development of the virtual laboratory system of Power Electronics.This thesis is the virtual power electronics laboratory software system research and design experiments. Papers in power electronics laboratory characteristics of study based on the use of existing network communication technology and multi-threaded control technology designed to achieve the relevant features of a virtual power electronics laboratory system.The main contents of this thesis are as follows.To begin with, a brief introduction of virtual power electronics laboratory research background and research status is made. Then it introduces TCP/IP protocol, focusing on the two operating systems in Windows and Linux related technologies under implementation. Secondly, the thesis introduces multi-threaded Windows operating system technology and network communication technology based on the client-software design ideas and programs detailed analysis focuses on the client-side software in the process and the achievement of core function technology used.And then, the thesis introduces a variety of server-side software architecture based on the architecture of choice for server-side software, the message of the analysis and, based on the characteristics of the design itself modify an existing architecture and implementation. Then it describes in detail under the complex model used Linux features and realization process.Finally, the research and development, as well as the following improvement of this paper is summarized.
