Users must operate the devices on the special lab on the special time for the characteristics of traditional lab. But by the enlarging number of the students and the developing of the multi-teaching the remote lab is becoming more and more important. The system compares the differences of the two structures and introduces the solution based on Web using the structure of based on Browser/Server. The system is divided into 3 layers including devices layer, data layer and present layer. Device layer includes variety devices and PLC/PAC. Data layer defines the basic attributes of data, and have the interfaces for drivers, services, storages and advanced control algorithms. It also has OPC interface and easily communicates with other soft wares. Browser intends to the present layer and using RIA to realize. It needs to communicate with data layer and presents to users. WCF is the core of the communication of Silverlight. The WCF can be added in VS and uses special communication thread to fetch the data in data layer. So users can see the data when opening the browser. The latest technology of browser RIA is used to improve the experience of the users. After setting the Web server, publishing silverlight and WCF, staring NCLayer and adding Web Service, users can see the simulation on the browser by entering ip address. The system used the Visual Studio 2008 as the development platform in the structure of.net 3.5. VB.net is used as the main development language. The oriented object method and many classed is adopted in the system as well as WCF.
