On the basis of analyzing the operation principle, important interface and controlling relationship of the cooperative transmitter, the importance of the solid-state reformation is raised up. According to the present technological level, the feasibility of the solid reformation is analyzed. Through putting forward the thought of the reformation, analyzing all types of operating models of the present microwave solid-amplifier, especially comparing the operation efficiency of the amplifier, the switching power-amplifier is been certain as the prime scheme. After reviewing the technology of the present regulated power supply, comparing the differences of the linear regulated power supply and the switching power supply, summarizing the advantage and disadvantage of the switching power supply with different composition, the half-bridge switching power supply of the pulse duration modulation is drawn up as the reforming design in its actual difference and acquirement.The article recounts the principle of the half-bridge converter detailedly, analyzes the operation waveform of all parts, and shows the basic design process. As the design of main circuitry of the solid-amplifier extension is reformatted, the principle of the on-off controlling and output-power coupling will be shown for the actual requirement. Make sure the performance index, output-input interface, controlling-protecting function and installation sizes of the extensions are consistent with the original parts of the reformatted extensions.The test data of the reformatted extension is shown at the last of the article.
