The rapid growth of technology and the competition of modern armament demand higher performance Radar, resulting in more advanced receiver, one of the most important parts of Radar, to be necessary. Advanced Receiver has some better characteristic, such as high resolution capacity, high integration and digital, high dependability and better anti-jamming ability. Wideband digital receiver involves some key technology, such as wideband RF front-end, digital frequency synthesizer, wideband digital IF sampling and correction of wideband digital, etc. This paper analyses the characteristic of wideband digital receiver and key technology, and presents some research in progress, which goal is to provide feasible prototype and experiment data for new-style wideband Radar receiver research in future.In different type modern Radar with various system and working band, the schemes of receivers are diverse. However, the requirement of reduction in size and cost is necessary to all Radar. With the application of new technology and material, miniaturization of receivers becomes to be feasible. More and more components with high performance and small size are used in modern Radar receivers, which resulting in the significant reduction of receivers'size and remarkable progress of receivers' performance.Composition and Implementation of a Radar Receiver for Wide-band are introduced in this paper, at same time, research result and date are provided together, it can meet Radar requirement with various system and working band through such date, such as modern mobile anti-active-jamming Radar, land-based and ship-borne phased array Radar, and even some receivers used in other domain, such as ECM and communication.
