Bulk materials (coal, ore, etc.) transport is the most basic production processes in the coal industry, bulk cargo dock and so on, where exists security risk, and should be paid high attention. Aim at the often occurred"buried alive"accidents in the coal industry, bulk cargo docks etc. In this paper, designed an alarm system based on infrared detection, used the structure of IRCCD+CPLD+DSP, completed infrared image real-time acquiring, processing, displaying and recognizing the life target in car dumper consequently.This system includes image acquisition, image processing, display and alarm, and several other modules. In the image acquired module used CPLD as the controlling core, the SAA7111A video processing chip is used to complete changing analogue image to digital image, used dual-port RAM to complete image matrix real-time storage, and used the CPLD to complete the time sequence synchronized control. In order to complete acquiring the infrared image and processing, the processing system must have a high real-time character and versatile character. This article based on these requirements, fully drew on past design experience in image processing platform, used the TMS320C6416 digital signal processor which is produced by TI company and has a high capability compared to other chip as the core component to complete enhancing infrared images, segmentation, feature extraction and other operations, realized life target recognizing in the car dumper; used 555 as the core component in sound-light alarm delay circuit to complete alarm.In this paper, every main components'peripheral interface circuit were designed, and the external expansion FLASH cache of DSP was designed too, it ensured that the system can operate normally after the power off and then on. In addition, the multi-channel buffered serial port MScBSP was used to simulate the I2C bus interface, completed the initialization of SAA7111A. In software programming, the time sequence was simulated by Quartusâ…ˇ. A series processing of infrared images was done by MATLAB7.0. Under the CCS software platform, initialization programming of DSP was done, and the data storage space was allocated. On the basis of fully analyzing experiment results, verified the feasibility and practicability of the system.At the last of this paper, summarized the design and research production of this system, aim at the insufficiency of this paper, overviewed the future research and development of this task.
