The simulation and assessment of the interference effects of laser on infrared imaging system, which is a significant research and has found wide applications, has been an important subject in Electro Optical Countermeasure field.This paper makes a detail analysis on the mechanism of the action of laser interference to infrared image for staring infrared imaging system. A cross talk model of the interference effects of laser on infrared imaging system with the discussion of energy transfer, space transfer, space sampling, noise, CCD response characteristic and non uniformity in infrared detector and laser propagation characteristic through optical system have been built on the basis of modularization system modeling theory. Then according to the experiment result of stray light this paper builds an analytical model of the stray light with the help of TracePro's light tracing function. Finally, a simulation platform of the interference effects of laser on infrared imaging system is designed and implemented with VC++.NET 2005. This platform can simulate the interference effects with different intensity, location and radii. We make an analysis of and comparison to infrared images, and present an evaluation method based on the correlation function from subjective and objective assessment.
