LEON3 is an open source microprocessor based on SPARC V8 architecture with characteristic of excellent configurability and portability, it can be easily as needed to build required SoC system. In the SoC verification technique, prototype verification have been widely applied to the SoC verification, which as advantages of short development cycle, easy to modify the design and save verification effect and so on.This article first introduces the characteristics of leon3 microprocessor and protocal of AMBA Bus, and base on these, designing a custom SoC and then run the Prototype verification on the SoC system. The technique of design use IP reuse. IP core is provided by gaisler IP library, system can stability work in 25MHZ,According to the characteristics of designed SoC, a SoC logic verification platform base on lage capacity FPGA is built to verify so-design SoC, at the same time, study the module's function and structure such as uart and timer, in order to develop the verification program by C language, then run the verification program on the platform .The simulation results show that the designed SoC can be run properly on this platform.The result of this article indicate that LEON3 processor has excellent ability,can construction system efficiently and fastly.in the system verification aspect, through established system which close to the real authentication system, effective mitigation the verification problems in SoC.
