With the rapid development of science and technology, the demanding of the industrial production for the photoelectric test and measure technologies has become increasing. At present, the digital precision measurement technology based on the laser radar is at the international leading level. And it has been widely used in automobile, aerospace and other three-dimensional shape measurement fields of the large scale objects. Because it has many advantages such as high accuracy, wide range, high speed and easy access to the high-density measurement data.Based on the development of modern digital precision measurement technology, aimed at the needs and applications of the 3-D shape measurement technology, this paper introduces the development situation of domestic and abroad, expounds the principle of the laser radar measurement systems and as well as the components. And then builds the mathematical models of the three-dimensional reconstruction based on the laser radar data. On this basis, according to the 3-D shape measurement needs of a certain type of aircraft, it designs a specific measurement plan, the whole methods and processes, and conducts the measurements experiments. At last, the data were processed and the error factors were analyzed. It accomplishes the reconstruction of the aircraft model.
