In this paper, firstly, it is represented that the fundamental of the measurement of 3-dimension complex surface shape. Furthermore, it demonstrates the aim of research, the current research and progress of 3-dimension complex surface shape measurement and application in such fields as industry, business, architecture, cultural legacy protection and clothing.And then, this dissertation introduces various 3D complex-shape measurement apparatuses, discusses such methods as flight time method, holography, machine vision, laser triangular etc. Finally, this paper improves a method: it renovates the optical system of traditional laser triangular, designs the multi-sensors-various angular measurement system, replaces the convex lens with column lens, amplifies the laser to obtain linear structural light, and combines holography to set up the model. Consequently, based on all the mentioned above, there are a great number of analysis to make a conclusion that this technology can set up the model of object more rapidly and exactly.
