Research & Development Of Conformance Test Technology & System For EPA Based Devices

With the development of network technology in recent years, Ethernet improves the industrial control network in the industrial control field. Simultaneously, conformance testing is also a very concerned and fast area in the world, and it is intended for testing consistency level between implementation and protocol, which is the premise and basis for appliance widly .In order to ensure the accuracy and interconnection among various equipments based EPA, made by many manufacturers, It requires conformance test of the device. If this can be achieved, it can be accessible to carry out integration of system between the device and equipment, equipment and control systems. Ultimately, it can ensure reliability and effectiveness of the system based EPA and expand the scope of EPA standards.The purpose of the research is to building the system for conformance testing, including summarizing the theory of conformance testing based EPA, constructing the general framework of the system and cases for conformance testing. Firstly, this paper studies the industrial Ethernet, EPA protocol and conformance testing. Secondly, the paper researches the consistency about FF fieldbus, CAN fieldbus and Modbus fieldbus. They can the research background of the paper. Based on the theory of EPA and conformance testing, the paper discusses the principle and development process of testing system and cases in detail. It describes the ideas from system architecture, design of hardware platform, design of software, design of testing cases. Eventually, it verified the accuracy of the system by many experimentsIn this paper, research results include:1) It carries out the design proposal of the system for conformance testing, and resolves the problem of non-conformance of the system based EPA, and reduces the risk of run-time spot for the equipments;2) It develops the software of compliance testing based EPA, and provides the visualization and friendly operation, and raises the convenience for users;3) It designed the cases for conformance testing, in order to validate the accuracy and completeness of the system.
