This paper makes the use of 2.4GHz active wireless electronic tag technology to the research on container information collection, the idea of this technology comes from the RFID technology.The RFID (radio frequency identification) technology is the domain with a fast development among the automatic diagnosis technologies, it has been applied widely in many fields such as logistics tracking, carrier, shelf recognition, as well as animal recognition management, etc, which get and switch data without touching. In recent years, with the daily growth of global logistics, the container transportation, with the characteristics of highly effective, convenient, safe, etc, has become the important form of transportation modernization. However, it is clear that containers are identified by their unique container number in the whole process of container transportation. The veracity of traditional identification is low, and it is easily influenced by weather conditions. Data collection by manual work is not only easy to make mistakes but also cost much time, which can not meet the real-time and accurate requirements. The application of wireless electronic tag automatic recognition technology on container can not only enhance the speed that container passing the harbor, but also unify and standardize the information management of domestic trade container, overcoming the phenomena of low information accuracy rate, not real-time, etc, greatly improving the transportation efficiency and management, and it will bring obvious economic efficiency to the container transportation.Firstly, this paper introduces the 2.4GHz active wireless electronic tag system, including its composition and work principle; then it carries detailed exposition to each constituent from the aspects of hardware and software. Among them, the hardware aspect, according to the system function need, a 2.4GHz active RFID system is confirmed to be used to accomplish this design; the software aspect, mainly introduces the anti-collision method realization, the design and realization of active electronic tag's low power loss working mechanism, as well as the realization of a low cost and practical solution for system safety. Among them, on the half of anti-collision method realization, according to the slotted ALOHA algorithm idea and the experiment debugging result, this paper proposes an improved method. Finally, it puts forward some advices to system perfection and improvement.The 2.4GHz active wireless electronic tag system designed in this paper can be applied not only to the management of container transportation, but also to other fields on the base of hardware platform proposed in this paper with some other appropriate operating system and database system.
