With the development of the society, the internet is progressing with each passing day. The application of internet has also gradually popularized in people's lives. So is the situation among students in colleges and universities, and the incremental rate remains quite high in these environments. There are several issues which are very common in students'daily lives; for instance, the exchanging of numerous unused items, the delivery of the latest information, and discussions about teachers and fellow students. With the help of the internet, the information symmetry about all these issues can be realized for the purposes of improving life quality, reducing waste and promoting efficiency. As a result, it is quite necessary to create a platform on which the students could list the business information and discuss about certain topics. The present platform, based on the Spring framework, is developed with the combination of Java, Css, javascript, jsp, Struts, Hibernate and Spring. The system is simpler and the interface is more direct, which allow the users to obtain the resources they need easily and clearly from it. The building of the platform is meaningful from different perspectives like resource, economy and environment. From the economic perspective, students and the business runners off campus, as well as the website operator would all benefit from business information publication and topic discussion platform. For the business runners off campus, they can deliver advertisements through the website in order to let more students know of their products; the students could realize value exchanging by trading their idle items. Meanwhile, the website can charge the business runners for advertising and activity fees in order to make a profit. Generally speaking, by diverting to electronic approach, it saves energy as well as money which would be spent unnecessarily and, accordingly, has a positive impact on the environment, for electronic publication is more environment-friendly and effective.Based on the previous studies, the present thesis has made a comprehensive design for and exploration to the students'business information publication and topic discussion platform in a college. The research has mainly demonstrated the necessity and potential of the platform.1. The first chapter discusses and explores the special requirements of the students'business information publication and topic discussion platform. As a part of computer network, using website to manage business information has more merits than physical management. One can systematically gather the information that needed in daily life through this platform, and also can publish his/her own information on it. In this way, resource sharing is achieved and the amount of information will be expanded. Also, from the perspective of application, it is the most convenient and rapid way to be informed through internet, which has improve the life efficiency of most people.2. In Chapter 2, the author introduces the developing language and illustrates the reasons for adopting Spring framework to accomplish the overall design, as well as the advantages of Spring framework. At present, java language is becoming the first choice in developing b/s model websites, and the Spring framework is also adopted extensively, for the technique development of its structure is relatively faultless and has irreplaceable advantages. In short, the author has adopted mainstream techniques of jsp. At the same time, the author also introduces the language and technique characteristics of java and the distinguishing features of jsp.3. To achieve the objectives of allowing users to obtain overall information and to employ the management system in a convenient and rapid, efficient, accurate and intelligent-integrated manner, the author in this chapter explains how to precede the overall design of the structure of the website. The functions of the website are classified into five major modules and the structure drawings are provided, which make the structure clear and distinct. Finally, the details about constructing the website framework are briefly introduced.4. Based on Chapter 3, this chapter is a further illustration. According to the specific designing principles, the author accomplishes the concrete design of the five major function modules after analyzing the system functioning requirement. The five modules are browsing module, publication module, feedback module, searching module and management module. The core code of the data layer and control layer of each module is provided as well. In this chapter, the author also introduces the designing link of the bottom database and offers to the readers the major composition table and relationships between tables.5. After finishing the design of each major function module, the result of website testing is described in Chapter 5, which is illustrated by some page screenshots, such as screenshots of the log-in page, registration page and the successful landing page, etc. Then the author evaluates it from perspectives of using and website techniques. The tests show that the website based on Spring framework is relatively safe and convenient and has achieved the expected results.6. In the last chapter, the author makes a conclusion of the significance of the system and discusses the foreground of it. The platform allows teachers and students to have a place where they can communicate, and therefore reduces contradicts between them and increases their trust for each other. Through business information sharing, both teachers and students could know of the topics which are popular among them, and grasp all the latest preferential activities information and business opportunities in the nearby business circle in order to benefit from them. The using of business information and topic discussion platform is not only applicable in this campus but will also be feasible in any other university, as long as it is covered by a relatively sound network system. Similarly, it could be applied in a community, which would lighten up the lives of people in that district or neighborhood. The electronic information industry is a sign of the development of modern society as well as an indispensable part. The model of obtaining information through internet is being accepted by more and more people. In modern life, how to gain more business value or simply equal value with less time is always the goal that people struggle for and a research question that people keep studying for. To find the proper way, we need to carry more thorough and detailed exploration into that specialized field.Business information publication and topic discussion platform provides the students with more business information; thus, it can improve their quality of life and satisfy their needs to a great extent. Meanwhile, the students'needs would in turn promote the development of the platform and take it to a better position.The business information on this platform needs to be categorized in a more detailed manner, and we will have to face the new challenge of expanding information accessing channels and intensify the control on healthiness of the contents..
