PID control as a classical control methods, become the most widely used process control field control methods, because of its superior control performance. PID controller has simple structure, strong adaptability and does not depend on the precise model of controlled object, has strong robustness, so it is still widely used in industrial control. In this paper, based on PAC, combined classical PID controller tuning with intelligent control theory, designed an intelligent self-tuning PID controller, and the work has a certain theoretical and practical significance.This paper studied the PID control theory, particular the principle of digital PID controllers, for integral and differential recurring aspects of PID controllers proposed several solutions. Analysis several commonly used engineering PID parameter tuning methods, including Ziegler-Nichols experience, the critical ratio method, relay feedback method. Discussed the advantages and disadvantages of these types of algorithms, and has done a simulation for the selected model.This paper studied two kinds of intelligent PID parameter tuning method, fuzzy control algorithm and genetic algorithm. Designed intelligent self-tuning PID controller used fuzzy control and genetic algorithm tuning PID parameters, the controller used classical PID algorithm for the initial value of parameters, and then used fuzzy control algorithm and genetic algorithm for further tuning PID controller parameters. The paper has done a simulation using MATLAB/Simulink, verified the good control effect of the intelligent PID controller.This paper designed an intuitive software interface that contains a variety of tuning method of PID controller. Users can choose tuning programs more easily, as well as the results. Studied the structure and working principle of PAC, then applied algorithm based on PAC by C, and designed some small modules for various algorithms and the overall process of software.
