As an important military sensor, navigation sensors play an important role not only in the national economy but also in national defense. The work of this paper was supported by the national key basic research projects of 973 plans. Having compared various measuring methods of the spectral responsivity, a detailed description of testing the spectral responsivity was given. The testing system can supply service for spectral responsivity of photodetectors range from 330nm to 900nm. And the system is vital to the analysis and improvement of the photodetectors production process. What's more, it plays an important role in improving performance parameters of photodetectors. The testing system, which was designed, takes advantage of standard detectors substitution, with optical fiber transmiting light path. Compared with traditional methods it has higher accuracy, moreover it breaks through the limitition of detector's photosensitive area to the measurement of spectral responsivity. We designed a stepper motor drive system, then the manually controlled monochromator SSM301 was carried out instead by automation. methods. The optical split system controlled by the step motor scans the optical source automatically within the optical spectral range from 330nm to 900nm, with the precision higher thanĀ±0.1 nm. Achieving the communication between PC and MCU, developed visualization interface allows users to respond to the measurement of spectral responsibility easily and intuitively. Discussion and analysis of the error sources was given after the experiments.Using the semiconductor parameter tester 4200-SGS carried out the test on the self-made detectors of their dark current and volt-ampere characteristics, a process mistake is found, which provide an adequate scientific basis for the future production of photodetectors.
