Research On Remote Measurement System Based On Embedded Web Technology

Remote measurement and control system is an important cross research direction of computer technology, network technology, communication technology in measurement and control field, and is applicated widly to monitor and manage measurement and control instrument such as industry meters, sensors and monitor equipment, and called as nerve of production process in large industrial field. So it is important to study remote measurement and control system.Remote measurement and control system transmiss measurement data from industry field to measurement and control center by network, and measurement and control equipment must have the ability of measuring data, transmissing data, sending data, and that is realized by intelligent instrument that has the ability of logical calculation and data process. But there are three problems that restrict the development of measurement and control. Firstly, intelligent instrument can not applicated widly because of high price. Secondly, communication protocol is no compatiable for different intelligent instruments and communication obstacle may be caused. Finally, many traditional measurement and control instrument can not applicated to remote measurement and control system.In view of the problems above, it is studied in two aspacts. Firstly, according to the problem, there are not normal communication protocol and can not communicate between measurement instrument and network, and embedded system is applicated to measurement and control system. Embedded system is applicated to measurement instrument, and it has the function of TCP/IP and can communicate with information network real-timly. In addition, communication protocol of remote measurement and control system is studied, and Web technology is applicated to embedded system, and the transmisstion process of measurement data to measurement and control center client is realized.Implementation scheme of remote measurement and control system based on embedded Web technology is proposed, and hardware and software is designed. This system has many advantages such as good compatibility, low cost, small volume, strong anti-interference ability, easy to use, realizing statistic analysis of history data. According to theory result, the system prototype is developed and tested, and the function of remote measurement and control to measurement equipment is realized by Web brower.
