Yangtze River, as China's "Golden Waterway", the status of inland water transport increasing, the number of shipping vessels and the density are significantly increased. Accompanying ship shipping maritime security incidents on the growing threat, the most prominent problem is ships draft exceeding. However, the current detection of ship's draft, mainly through manual visual inspection methods, but only when the ships dock or anchor; this method is cumbersome and time-consuming. Automatic detection of ships draft design of early warning systems to realize the gate holes were disembarking the ship draft real-time detection; not only to reduce and avoid the accidents of ships and detection rate of ship draft is greatly improved, this is of great practical significance.There is no sets of system equipment of ship draft detection in China, this paper, according to actual project demand, design the ship's draft information collection and processing systems which is based on a sensor array; and according to the theoretical basis of statistical filtering technology,design a two-dimensional data error exclusion algorithm.The paper introduces the Three Gorges ship draft automatic detection and warning system; and according to requirements, design and implement system of draft ships information collection and processing. Ultrasonic sensor array and steel bracket formed information detection instrument, and scanning the underside of the ship and converting to digital information; to the industrial computer control of information acquisition hardware system, including RS-485 bus converter, the current acquisition module, the environment parameter acquisition module. And using Visual Studio designed the ship's draft detection software, control external sensor to collect ships draft information, process the collected data and finally calculate the ships draft; and achieve a friendly human interface In addition, due to the interference of the external environment, collecting data inevitably introduces outliers; resulting draft vessels serious decline in the accuracy of detection. In this paper, according to project requirements, design a two-dimensional data error exclusion algorithm which is based on order statistics, and algorithm performance were simulated and analyzed.The experiment indicates that the technical approach is feasible to complete data acquisition and processing; accuracy can basically meet the requirements and achieved the desired effect, for the follow-up on-site debugging and application to lay a solid foundation.
