With the development of marine science, more and more attention has been paid to the exploration of the marine physics research. And compared with other methods, the marine magnetotelluric method can supply valuable information by the research on the medium distribution. However, with the attenuation of seawater, the electrical signal is very weak. It is one of the most important to develop a high sensitivity sensor and finish its track tests. Consequently, there are some technical problems to be solved in research and development: chooseing the electrode material; improveing the fabrication process; overcomeing the environmental impact; resisting the signal interference and so on. The Ag/AgCl all-solid-state electrode this dissertation studies show characteristic of precision, stability, enduring high pressure, high sensitivity, and lower noise, which is adapt to measurement of signal through seawater. The dissertation shows that method used to make AgCl powder and preparation technology of the Ag/AgCl all-solid-state electrode. In addition, we complete the electrochemical noise(ECN) measurement, and the measurement of stability and sensitivity. The ECN measurement is an in-situ and nondestructive method in corrosion research. Since the energy distribution plot(EDP) based on wavelet transform is suitable for both stationary and nonstationary signal, it is a more practical method than PSD based on FFT in signal processing. In this dissertation, the theoretical basis of wavelet analysis and FFT is briefly reviewed. Further, both methods are applied to the study of corrosion system covering a wide range of ECN signal of Marine Electrode. The results show, firstly, that marine electrode has good noise property , and that wavelet analysis is applicable to the system in which FFT techniques also work. Moreover, in cases where FFT fails, wavelet analysis provides valuable knowledge about the behaviour of the system.
