Nowadays, communication is becoming more and more important to people, and plays a more and more crucial role in our society. Communication has become essential strategic means of social development. As the continuous expansion of the mobile communication network, network planning & optimization becomes a topic that more and more people put emphsis on.The core network of Trunking Communication System has been growing recent years, thus enabling the requirements of service reliability, network stability and extendibility increasingly intense to network operators. MSC Pool technology has outstanding advantages in the sharing of traffic load, balancing tidal traffic, reducing the Inter-handover and location update times, enhancing system capacity, simplifying network planning and construction, increasing system security performance and saving operation and maintenance cost, which make study of MSC Pool networking technology in Trunking Communication System of great significance.In this thesis, MSC Pool technology has been introduced into Trunking Communication System in order to reduce signalling traffic in core network nodes, realize load sharing, assure disaster recovery and simplify the network planning. In this paper firstly the advantages and disadvantages of MSC Pool technology in Trunking Communication System are analyzed; secondly, a new and complete group call MSC Pool networking program has been proposed and the design principle, detailed realization, and service management are given; finally, we do comparison between these two schemes. The result shows that the scheme proposed in this paper not only implements disaster recovery but also transforms group call inter-handover into group call intra-handover thus reducing the inter-handover times.
